They just don’t make them like George, anymore. Serbian born, internationally trained and now a proud Melbournian, George is the perfect illustration of this city’s proud multicultural heritage.
After many years experience building and running large scale events as an art director in Europe, George arrived in Australia, curious to learn about our local creative scene. Surprised by a distinct lack of digitally focused events, in 2011 he set about curating a ‘small’ interactive exhibition, called Pause.
That event has since grown into Australia’s premier digital festival, welcoming more than 6,000 attendees last year alone. George now leads an event team of 20+ but still maintains a steady hand on every visual element you see at Pause.
